1942-1969
Falegnameria Guerrini and Tecnolegno Sas

1942

MTH was born in Turin, under the name of Falegnameria Gastone Guerrini, specialized in the production of wooden doors and windows.

1953

MTH builds doors and windows in Baroque style for the Lascaris palace in Turin.

1957

The "Tecnolegno S.A.S. di Meyrone Allomello & C" is established with headquarters in Turin.

1958

Tecnolegno obtains the first patent for the construction of the window known as "TL Mod 57".

1959

Tecnolegno manufactures the profiles of the angular for the window model "TL 30" for the company Eugenio Gressetto of Padua, engaged in the construction of a residential house for Tessilcarraro Veneta.

1960

Tecnolegno supplies the interior doors of the Abdullah Alsabah Mubara royal palace, for the Sheikh of Kuwait.

1961

Tecnolegno builds the wooden structure of the Palazzo a Vela in Turin for the centenary of the unification of Italy, a very daring engineering challenge.

1962

Tecnolegno obtains the patent for the construction of movable office walls, subsequently used for various works including the construction of the SAIPO OREAL offices in Settimo Torinese.

1963

For the first time Tecnolegno gets in touch with the world of cold and insulating doors and creates two samples, which for some years will not have further developments.

1965

Tecnolegno builds internal doors, windows, entrance and service doors of six buildings commissioned by the Reale Mutua Assicurazione company.

1967

Tecnolegno builds the "highest church in Europe", at an altitude of 3,647 meters on the Idren glacier, part of the Monte Rosa group.

1969-2004
The birth of MTH and the development of refrigerated doors

1969

The company "Manifatture Tecnolegno Hartz S.A.S.", today M.T.H. S.r.l., is established in Almese and manufactures the first cold-storage door model "TL 236 / TN".

1971

The new M.T.H. plant in Almese starts its business and prints the first price list concerning the whole production of cold-storage doors.

1973

MTH donates, by the founder Felice Meyrone, the main entrance door of the Sanctuary of San Pancrazio in Pianezza (TO).

1974

MTH enters into a commercial agreement with Otto Sterkel for the exclusive sale concession of the "Mod. 245" insulating doors in Germany.

1975

MTH supplies 600 cold-storage doors for BOSTON S.p.A. of Limena, which had won the contract for the supply of 84 refrigeration systems located throughout the Libyan coast.

1980

MTH supplies all the cold-storage doors necessary for the construction of the municipal slaughterhouse in Genoa.

1985

MTH signs a contract with Montecno S.p.A. for the supply of cold-storage doors to an industrial complex in Lozovaja in the Soviet Union. At the end of the works, the management of the Lozovaja plant issues a letter of praise to MTH for the work performed.

1987

MTH performs various processes on thermal and acoustic panels for all Ferrero plants in Alba.

2004-Today
Range expansion and global expansion

2004

MTH is acquired by IN.CA. S.r.l. and his guide passes to Mr. Luigi Canova.

2006

MTH inaugurates the new offices in Almese and MTH Balcani is established in Albania , dedicated to the production of insulating doors and cold rooms.

2007

MTH acquires Frigor Afen, company specialized in the production of refrigerating systems and in the sale of refrigeration components.

2009

MTH renovates its historical plant: a brand new 10,000 sqm facility with higher production capacity and more advanced equipment.

2010

MTH Latin America is established in Bogota, Colombia.

2012

MTH Doors India opens with a new plant in Sonepat, New Dehli, and MTH Industrial Ref. Doors is established in Rizhao, China.

2013

"MTH France is established as a commercial subsidiary in Nantes, France. The network expands in South-East Asia with the establishment of FrigoAfen in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and MTH SEA in Singapore."

2014

MTH insources the production of plastic components for cold-storage doors, with a new division for plastic molding.

2018

MTH insources the production of PVC profiles with set-up of new extrusion lines.

2020

Amidst the pandemic, MTH launches the new online portal for placing orders and consulting the main documents by customers, and introduces the new range of hygienic PVC profiles for cold rooms.

2021

"MTH renews the almese plant again by expanding production capacity and introducing technological innovations related to Industry 4.0. The product range expands with the launch of the new compact monobloc for small refrigerated cabinets."

2022

MTH celebrates its 80th anniversary.

2023

MTH acquires Foris Index and strengthens its positioning in the industrial refrigeration industry, both in Italy and abroad
