PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The new range of Algor cold rooms represents the excellence in maintaining the freshness and quality of food and medical products by preserving and protecting the essential characteristics of the products contained.
Algor mini cold rooms consist of modular panels and are available in 4 different thicknesses (80, 100, 120 and 150mm) making them suitable for both positive and negative temperatures down to -25°C. Positive-temperature cold rooms are available with and without floor, while low-temperature ones are supplied with a floor to ensure the best level of thermal insulation.

Modularity, flexibility and high customisation possibilities allow the cold room to be configured according to the customer’s specific requirements, ensuring:
• maximum product quality, thanks to the in-house design and production of all the elements of the cold room: panels, insulating doors and related components, plug-in refrigeration systems;
• optimal space management and versatility, with the possibility of adapting the cold room to the available surface thanks to the modularity of the panels with 200mm pitch, as well as selecting specific features and options;
• ease and speed of installation, thanks to the presence of male-female panels with eccentric clamping hooks and the absence of plastic profiles and corners;
• high level of hygiene and ease of cleaning and maintenance, thanks to the possibility of installing hygienic profiles to cover internal corners;
• high energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact, thanks to the possibility of combining the use of insulating panels up to 150mm thick with the range of plug-in monoblocs operating with R290 natural refrigerant gas.

AVAILABLE MODELS

Standard cold room

The Standard cold room is made of insulating panels covered with white RAL9010 zinc-plasticised metal sheet, which guarantee durability and easy cleaning. The floor is anti-slip and available in different versions, with durable materials that can easily withstand daily wear and tear.

Multi-compartment cold room

The Multi-compartment cold room represents a versatile solution that allows the room to be divided into several compartments thanks to fixed internal dividers. This makes it possible to create rooms for storing products at different temperatures, allowing optimal space management.

Stainless-steel cold room

The stainless-steel cold room is designed with panels covered with AISI 304 stainless steel sheet to withstand the most aggressive environments: it represents the ideal solution for storing products in contexts where high resistance to wear and corrosion is required, ensuring long life and low maintenance.

PANELS

• Construction

The panels of the Algor range are clad in white RAL9010 zincplasticised sheet or AISI 304 stainless steel, and made of highdensity polyurethane (40kg/m³) for effective insulation.

• Dimensions

Width:  from 400mm to 1200mm with 200mm pitch.
Heigth:  from 2000mm to 3000mm with 200mm pitch.

• Thicknesses

The insulating panels are available in four thicknesses: 80, 100, 120 and 150mm. All thicknesses can be used for mediumtemperature applications (-5/+5°C), while for low-temperature applications (down to -25°C) only thicknesses 100, 120 and 150mm can be used.

• Fixing

The panels are designed without plastic corners for improved quality, aesthetics, cold room stability and ease of assembly: they use an innovative male-female hook fastening system (Camlock System) to guarantee a perfect airtight seal. This system offers a tensile strength of up to 400kg, ensuring an even distribution of pressure over the entire surface.

FLOORS

The new Algor range has 3 different types of flooring, all antislip and structured to support loads, adapt to the way materials are transported inside the cold room, and withstand daily wear and tear.
The cold rooms used for positive temperatures, which do not require a heating cable in the doorway, are also available in a floorless version.

SEMI-RECESSED DOOR

The new semi-recessed door consists of a zinc-plasticised white RAL9010 or AISI 304 stainless steel sheet cladding with polyurethane insulation of 40kg/m³ density. The PVC perimeter gasket is mounted on a plastic profile to ensure a perfect seal and excellent thermal insulation. For low-temperature applications (down to -25°C), a heating cable is mounted in the door frame and threshold to prevent possible ice formation around the perimeter of the door. The Equa handle locking system and hinges are entirely designed and manufactured by MTH.

•  Thicknesses

The door is available in 80mm thickness in combination with cold rooms with panel thicknesses of 80 and 100mm, and 120mm in combination with cold rooms with panel thicknesses of 120 and 150mm; in both cases, the thickness outside the panel is approximately 54mm.

• Threshold

The door is available with a step threshold in case of a cold room with floor, or with a flush threshold in case of a cold room without floor, with a platform or for application on an intermediate wall.

ACCESSORIES

Hygienic profiles
Hygienic profiles in PVC, developed and manufactured in-house by MTH, ensure an airtight seal by covering corners between the wall and floor and provide an excellent seal against water, dirt and bacteria for a high standard of hygiene. The range also includes corner fittings and plugs.

Strip curtains
Strip curtains are made of PVC with a galvanised or stainless steel frame and are applied to the doorway to reduce heat exchange between the cold room and the outside environment if the door is kept open for prolonged periods.

Modular shelving system
The Algor cold room range can be equipped with a highly versatile modular shelving system to optimise the organisation of space and the storage of goods. Made with uprights in anodised aluminium and shelves in aluminium or polyethylene or AISI 304 stainless steel, the shelving system guarantees durability against corrosion and a high standard of hygiene.
The wide choice of standard sizes ensures great adaptability to available spaces, allowing numerous combinations with considerable space savings.

Ramp
Access ramp for trolleys and pallet trucks, ideal for cold room with floor.
